Love Bombing

One of the ways a narcissistic person reels us into a relationship is by love bombing us!

Love bombing is a form of manipulation where emotional attachment is formed quickly. Emotional attachment is created with the intent of obtaining control over you!

🚩 To avoid manipulation and love bombing, we will need to use discernment/good judgement.

🚩 Take it slow and do not rush into a new relationship. 1 John 4:1 recommends “testing one’s spirit” to ensure the person is good hearted.

🚩 It is easier to avoid manipulation when you slow down to think about the other person’s actions.
